Find Up-To-Date Information on the 45L Tax Credit in Our Resource Hub

New builds that meet the requirements for the ENERGY STAR® Single-Family New Homes or the Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Homes programs are eligible for the 45L tax credit of $2,500 or $5,000 per home. BetterBuiltNW has launched a new Resource Hub to help Northwest builders learn how to maximize their tax credit and build energy-efficient homes. For builders in the Northwest, these tax credits provide significant financial benefits to incorporate energy-efficient features in new homes when layered with existing local funding opportunities.

In the 45L Tax Credit Resource Hub, you’ll find relevant information on the tax credit categorized by sections. Resources include a Builder’s Guide designed to help you maximize your tax credit, a section to discover certified professionals in your area, answers to FAQs and more. Explore the 45L tax credit resource hub.
